UPSSSC Platoon Commander Recruitment 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC), Lucknow has issued a new official notification for UPSSSC Platoon Commander / Block Organizer Recruitment 2026 under the Advertisement No. 10-Exam/2026. There are total 295 permanent vacancies have been announced under the Home Guard Headquarters, Uttar Pradesh. The application from will begin on 16 June 2026 and apply until 06 July 2026. All interested applicants must be at least 21 years and maximum 40 years of age. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Graduation (Bachelor’s Degree) from any recognized university. For Block Organizer / Platoon Commander posts under Home Guards Headquarters, UP, the mandatory educational qualification as per UP Home Guards Service Rules 1982, Part-4, Rule-8 is a Graduate degree from a recognized university (for non-departmental/civilian category).

Desirable Qualification (Adhimani Arhat): As per UP Home Guards Service Rules 1982, Part-4, Rule-9, preference will be given to candidates who have: (a) served in a Provincial Army for up to two years, OR (b) obtained NCC ‘B’ certificate, OR (c) continuously worked in the Home Guards organization for a minimum of three years.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Candidates meeting the physical standards will be required to undergo a Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

Exam Date

The Main Written Examination will have one question paper containing 100 questions with a total time duration of 2 hours (120 minutes). All questions will be objective and multiple-choice type. Each question carries 1 mark. There is negative marking of 25% (¼ mark) for every wrong answer.
